Christian Relief Uganda CRU is a UK charity which raises money to help children and families in a small underprivileged community, in the Kamuli district of Busoga, Uganda. Support is channelled largely through Maria's Care, which comprises a home for orphans and destitute children, a deaf unit, a nursery, a creche, the vocational 'Training School of Life Skills' and a primary school (KPPS). All these are contained in the Maria's Care compound. We now also support many children from home. Our village animal projects seek to help families become self-sufficient. In addition, we have dental & health projects in the surrounding areas. A new dental clinic has been opened in Namwenda and a rural health clinic is planned in Kyeeya. |
